Located in Long Island, NY The Paumanauk Gordon Setter Club was established with a fourfold purpose.

1. To encourage and promote the breeding of pure bred Gordon Setters, and to do all posssible to bring their natural qualities of Beauty, Brains, and Bird Scense to perfection.

2.To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the AKC as the only standard by which Gordon Setters will be judged.

3. To do all in it's power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at all activities offered by the club.

4. To conduct AKC licensed Specialty Shows, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, and Obedience Trials.

We'll use this site to inform people about our club, share ideas, and organize events and activities.
